RPGGO is thrilled to announce the launch of its 2nd AI-Text Game Challenge, centered around the enchanting theme of “Romantic Summer Night”. From now until June 24th, 2024, creators are invited to submit their innovative game creations for a chance to win a share of the prize pool, totaling up to $800.
I. How to Enter:
To participate*, the participants must meet the following criteria:
- Create games through https://creator.rpggo.ai
2. Games in any category can be entered, but the theme must be “Romantic Summer Night”
3. Game shall be set to Published status before submission deadline (23:59 PST, June 23rd, 2024).
4. Share the game link on X (Twitter) with the hashtag #RPGGO.
5. Share the game link in the #game-jam channel on the official RPGGO Discord server.
II. Important Dates:
• Submission Deadline: 23:59 PST, June 23, 2024
• Judging Period: June 24–28, 2024
• Winners Announcement: June 30, 2024
III. Prize Categories and Awards:
• True Love Award: $100 for the highest score (over 60 points) in the love simulation category.
• Heartbeat Award: $100 for the highest score (over 60 points) among the Multiple NPC games.
• Surprise Award: $100 for the most unexpected ending with a score over 60 points.
• Most Active Award: $150 for the creation with the most Active Plays over 60 points (one play over 15 dialogues is considered as one Active Play, refers to RPGGO’s server data).
• Best NPC Award: $150 for the most impressive NPC among the games with a score over 60 points.
• Best Story Award: $200 for the best storyline among the games with a score over 60 points.
The winning creators will also receive an e-certificate issued by RPGGO, as well as a special identity group on the official RPGGO Discord server.
Winners will be contacted via Discord DM by RPGGO Staff (@World NPC) regarding the release of cash prizes.
IV. Scoring Standard:
• Creativity(30/100): The story designed by the creator is original, with an unexpected plot, a uniquely designed ending, etc.
• Engagement(25/100): The creator has spent efforts in the creation process, and has made multiple playtests and modifications to ensure that the players can enjoy the full game experience.
• Playability(20/100): The creator made full use of mechanics to create puzzles, adventure, and key point triggers to make the game more interesting.
• Writing Quality(15/100): The creator’s writing skills are strong, the storylines created by the creator make the player feel immersed in the game.
• Technical Proficiency(10/100): The creator is able to use formatting code and programming skills to make the game smoother.
Please note that any serious violation of law or public morals (including but not limited to: glorification of a crime under the laws of any existing country, plagiarism, racial discrimination, sexism, personal attacks, political metaphors, insults to physical defects, insults to values different from subject creator’s own, etc.) will result in the immediate disqualification of the creator’s right to participate in ALL CREATIONS in this Campaign.

*Participants can submit multiple creations, but only the highest-scoring entry from each creator will be considered for the final selection.
By participating in the Game Jam, you agree (i) to be unconditionally bound by the Official Rules and (ii) that all decisions related to the Game Jam that are made pursuant to these Official Rules are final and binding, and that all such decisions are at the sole discretion of RPGGO. If you don’t agree to be bound by the Official Rules, you may not participate in the Game Jam.
Eligibility
A. The Game Jam IS open to:
In-person as well as on-line participants working on projects during the Submission Period;
Individuals who are at least the age of majority where they reside as of the time of entry (“Eligible Individuals”);
Teams of Eligible Individuals (“Teams”); and
Organizations (including corporations, not-for-profit corporations and other nonprofit organizations, limited liability companies, partnerships, and other legal entities) that exist and have been organized or incorporated at the time of entry.
(the above are collectively, “Entrants”)
B. The Game Jam IS NOT open to:
Individuals who are residents of, or Organizations domiciled in, a country, state, province or territory where Swiss law or local law prohibits participating or receiving a prize in the Game Jam (Including but not limited to: Afghanistan, Belarus, Bolivia, Cambodia, China, Crimea, Cuba, Eritrea, Iran, Laos, Nicaragua, North Korea, Palestine, Russia, Sudan, Syria, Venezuela, Yemen, and Zimbabwe or an entity or person restricted by United States and Swiss law export controls and sanctions)
Organizations involved with the design, production, paid promotion, execution, or distribution of the Game Jam, including the Sponsor and Administrator (“Promotion Entities”).
Employees, representatives and agents** of such Promotion Entities, and all members of their immediate family or household*
Any other individual involved with the design, production, promotion, execution, or distribution of the Game Jam, and each member of their immediate family or household***
Any Judge (defined below), or company or individual that employs a Judge
Any parent company, subsidiary, or other affiliate*** of any organization described above
Any other individual or organization whose participation in the Game Jam would create, in the sole discretion of the Sponsor and/or Administrator, a real or apparent conflict of interest
**Agents include individuals or organizations that in creating a Submission to the Game Jam, are acting on behalf of, and at the direction of, a Promotion Entity through a contractual or similar relationship.
***An affiliate is: (a) an organization that is under common control, sharing a common majority or controlling owner, or common management; or (b) an organization that has a substantial ownership in, or is substantially owned by the other organization.
Intellectual Property Rights.
All submissions remain the intellectual property of the individuals or organizations that developed them. By submitting an entry, entrants agree that the sponsor will have a fully paid, non-exclusive license to use such entry for judging the entry. Entrants agree that RPGGO shall have the right to promote the submission and use the name, likeness, voice and image of all individuals contributing to a submission, in any materials promoting or publicizing the Game Jam and its results, during the Game Jam Period and for three years thereafter. Some Submission components may be displayed to the public. Other Submission materials may be viewed by RPGGO, and judges for screening and evaluation. By submitting an entry or accepting any prize, entrants represent and warrant that (a) submitted content is not copyrighted, protected by trade secret or otherwise subject to third party intellectual property rights or other proprietary rights, including privacy and publicity rights, unless entrant is the owner of such rights or has permission from their rightful owner to post the content; and (b) the content submitted does not contain any viruses, Trojan horses, worms, spyware or other disabling devices or harmful or malicious code.
IMPORTANT NOTES ON MULTIPLE PRIZE ELIGIBILITY:
A project can win up to one prize.
A. Substitutions & Changes: Prizes are non-transferable by the winner. Sponsor in its sole discretion has the right to make a prize substitution of equivalent or greater value. Sponsor will not award a prize if there are no eligible submissions entered in the Game Jam, or if there are no eligible Entrants or submissions for a specific prize.
B. Verification Requirement: THE AWARD OF A PRIZE TO A POTENTIAL WINNER IS SUBJECT TO KNOW-YOUR-CUSTOMER VERIFICATION OF THE IDENTITY, RESIDENCE, QUALIFICATIONS AND ROLE OF THE POTENTIAL WINNER IN THE CREATION OF THE SUBMISSION. No submission or submitter shall be deemed a winning submission or winner until their post-competition prize affidavits (refers to any form of acceptance by the Winner of the results of RPGGO’s treatment of his/her work, including but not limited to, the objectivity and fairness of the Game Jam’s scoring, the manner in which the rights to the work are divided, the reasonableness of the monetary amount of the Prize, and the form in which the Prize is awarded, etc., hereinafter referred to as the “prize affidavit”) have been completed and verified, even if prospective winners have been announced verbally or on the competition website. The final decision to designate a winner shall be made by the Sponsor and/or Administrator.
C. Prize Delivery: Prizes will be payable to the Entrant, if an individual; to the Entrant’s Representative, if a Team; or to the Organization, if the Entrant is an Organization. It will be the responsibility of the winning Entrant’s Representative to allocate the Prize among their Team or Organization’s participating members, as the Representative deems appropriate. A monetary Prize, or other forms of prizes of equivalent value, will be sent electronically to the winning Entrant’s personal account (including but not limited to third party payment platforms, video game platforms, shopping platforms, etc.), only after receipt of the completed winner prize affidavit and/or other required documents (if applicable). Failure to provide correct information on the data collection process, or other correct information required for the delivery of a Prize, may result in delayed Prize delivery, disqualification of the Entrant, or forfeiture of a Prize. Prizes will be delivered within 30 working days of RPGGO’s receipt of the completed prize affidavit from the winner.
